Tuti B. Scott
Tuti is a strategic philanthropy and investing consultant and coach to high-achieving leaders. A lifelong athlete, Tuti engaged thousands of supporters for the Women’s Sports Foundation where she raised $70 million over 15 years to support women’s leadership and equal access to sports for women and girls. Known as the “Chief Inspiration Officer” of the women’s funding movement, Tuti has been a leader in social justice philanthropy, women’s rights, and women’s sports for more than three decades. She currently serves as the Money and Power Fellow at the Women’s Funding Network.
Through her firm Imagine Philanthropy, Tuti works with leaders to be more courageous and strategic in their giving and helps organizations navigate their next stage of growth. She advises teams on strategic planning, succession planning, fundraising, and leadership development, and has assisted founders such as Geena Davis, Noreen Farrell, Willy Foote, Serene Jones, and Jane Sloane, and others. In 2017-2018, Tuti advised and facilitated the founders of ReflectUS as they came together to form a nonpartisan coalition dedicated to working together to increase the number of women in office and achieve equal representation across the ideological, racial, ethnic and geographic spectrum. In March 2018, Tuti co-facilitated, “ Force for Change: Israel Through a Gender Lens” in partnership with the Jewish Women’s Funding Network (JWFN), the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW), and the Dafna Fund. Her clients have included Root Capital, Third Wave Fund, Equal Rights Advocates, Civil Liberties and Public Policy among others.
Tuti has been a featured speaker and workshop producer for Women Moving Millions, the Women’s Funding Network, and the Jewish Women’s Funding Network and several of member funds of these networks. An energizing author and speaker, “Coach Tuti” inspires people to up their voice to create and fund change. Tuti serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of Tides and was a founding board member of the Women Win Foundation. She is proud to call herself an intersectional feminist and bold philanthropist. In 2018, her Imagine Philanthropy team will launch new programs around Values-Based Investing with a Gender Lens, Equity & Inclusion, Systems Change, and Embodied Leadership to further support women leaders in getting in the game of money, influence, and power.
